Helen M. Hebert

Helen M. Hebert, 84, a native and resident of Pine Prairie, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Evangeline Extended Care Hospital in Mamou. Helen was born July 31, 1927 the daughter of Emar and Tillia Deville Ortego. Later in life she married Leewood Hebert and he survives. Survivors include her husband Leewood Hebert of Pine Prairie; two children, Jerry Hebert and wife Judy, of Mamou, Juanita Guidry, of Houma; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Melvin Hebert; three sisters; three brothers. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Helen will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
