Edward A. Fangue, a native of Avoca Island and a resident of Bayou Vista, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2011. Edward was born on February 3, 1917 the son of Joseph and Mary Jane DeHart Fangue. He was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Bayou Vista. Survivors include his wife, Hazel Simoneaux Fangue; three daughters, Carol Beadle, Rickie Lynn Landry, Pam Nagim, all of Bayou Vista; fifteen grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Edward J. Fangue; one daughter, Ramona Landry; one son-in-law, Woodrow Beadle; four brothers; three sisters. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the time of Mass on Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Edward will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
