Stan Robison, 29, passed away Monday evening, July 23,
just days before his July 30 birthday.
Born in Morgan City, he is the son of Stan and Betty Robison of Bayou
Vista, and grandson of Lige Robison and his "Angel on Earth" Nelwyn
Robison of Berwick, and Poochie and Kay Suttoon of Bayou Vista.
He is survived by his sister, Casie Callais and her husband, Jeremy of
Berwick and their daughters, Sinclair and Charlotte; and his sister,
Annie, and her husband, Lt. Mark Kurtz, of Jacksonville, Fla.
His aunts and uncles include Greig and Andre Chauvin of Morgan City,
Damon and Phyllis Robison of Berwick, Scott Robison of Morgan City,
Rani and Todd Braus of Berwick, Wren and Joe Hartley of Houston,
Gabrielle and Lecil Townsend of Clever, Mo., Poochie and Yvonne Suttoon
of Bayou Vista, Gettel Skinner of Morgan City and Cammy and Ronald
Crochet of Pierre Part; and great-grandmother, Della L. Gray, of Morgan
City.
Other survivors include cousins Gray Timmons, Stuart Robison, Lauren
Fromenthal, Erin Shipe, Julia and Katie Chauvin, Leah, Emily and Evan
Townsend, Alaina Salyers, Isabella Braus, Ben Skinner, Becky Fitter,
Travis Suttoon, Aubrey Suttoon, Katie Suttoon, Diona Seah, Megan
Suttoon, Eunia Leonard, Betsy Berthelot and Michelle Taquino.
Stan was preceded in death by his loving & Paw Paw Lige & and
Great-grandfather, Leonard Gray.
Visitation will be today, Thursday, July 26, 2007, from 6 p.m. to 10
p.m. at Bethel Pentecostal Church in Patterson and again Friday at
Bethel Pentecostal from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 27, 2007, and he
will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
Stans family and friends will remember him for his deep love of family
and especially, in recent years, for his nieces Sinclair and Charlotte.
He will be sadly and profoundly missed by all of his family.
Stan entered a Bible-based ministry program in February 2005. He went
on to graduate in May 2006.
It was on Feb. 22, 2005, that he began his relationship with Jesus
