James Walker

James “Jimmy” Walker, 48, a resident of Bayou Vista, and a native of Bennington, Vermont passed away Monday August 20, 2007 at his residence. “Jimmy” was a hard worker and a good provider for his family. He loved to spoil his daughters and helping his friends. He enjoyed listening to music, eating good food and beer. Jimmy was an avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing and shooting skeet. Jimmy loved cooking seafood and wildgame, carpentry work and motorcycles. Jimmy is survived by his two daughters; Ashley and Erica Walker of Bayou Vista, one stepson, James Richard of Morgan City, his mother, Shirley Carroll of Petersburg, NY, one brother, Michael Walker and his wife Darcie of Petersburg, NY, four sisters; Kathy Woodward and her husband Tom of Pownal, VT, Kelly Green and her husband Billy of Petersburg, NY, Colleen Manchester and her husband Greg of Petersburg, NY and Maureen Coon and her husband Keith of Petersburg, NY. Jimmy is preceded in death by his father, David Shae Walker and one sister, Pamela Walker Quidgion. The Family will receive friends from 3pm until 6pm, Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at Twin City Funeral Home. Jimmy will be laid to rest in Berlin Community Cemetery in Berlin, New York.
