Edison Joseph Grow, Sr.

Edison Joseph Grow, Sr., 67, a lifelong resident of Morgan City passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2012. Edison was born on February 23, 1944 in Morgan City the son of Edison Eugene and Elma LaJaunie Grow. He enjoyed being in the outdoors especially to go hunting and fishing, or traveling. He was an avid animal lover who raised birds and loved playing with his dogs, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Fay Ann Alcina Grow of Morgan City; three children, Edison Joseph Grow, Jr. of Berwick, Dawn Marie Grow of Morgan City, Shantel Lynann Grow and companion Jeremy Boudreaux, Sr. of Berwick; one grandson Jeremy Boudreaux, Jr., one sister, Paulette Chellette of Morgan City, one brother, Ray Grow, of Morgan City; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elma Lajaunie Grow and Edison Eugene Grow; father-in-law, Joe Alcina. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday, February 10, 2012 at Twin City Funeral Home with visitation resuming from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
