Charles Joseph Schexsnayder

Charles Joseph Schexsnayder, 60, a resident of Patterson passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at his home. Charles was born on August 31, 1951 in Raceland the son of Ezeb Adolph Schexsnayder, Jr. and Rosie Clark. He was a devoted son, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle. He enjoyed spending as much time with his family as he could, but especially with his dog J.Q. He also enjoyed going to Patterson High School football games with his family. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 37 years, Nezha Moustaouhid Schexsnayder, of Georgia; six children, Karim Gulifo and husband Christopher Guilfo Sr. of Georgia, Mouna Trosclair and husband Tommy Trosclair, Sr, of Patterson, Nadia Schexsnayder of Texas, Marium Isibor of Labadieville, Samaria Voisin and husband Christopher, of Theriot, Aziz Ezeb Schexsnayder and Tammy Sutter of Fort Wayne, Indiana; 20 grandchildren, Tommy Jr., Keith, Logan, Brittney, Christopher, Jr., Aliyah, Hailie, Mandan, Taylor, Justice, Rachelle, Austin, Jr., Christian, Isaiah, Kristina, Kylee, Kayanna, McKayla, Royce, Anyssa; 3 great-grandchildren, Avaeah, Abdelhak, Kyndal. He is also survived by one brother, David Schexsnayder, of Schriever; five sisters, Linda Dubois of Schriever, Barbara Ordoyne of Thibodaux, Sherry Douglas and husband Richard, of Labadieville, Laura Benoit and husband Barry of Labadieville, Angela LaRose and husband Michael of Labadieville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ezeb Adolph Schexsnayder, Jr. and Rosie Clark Schexsnayder; one son, Abdelhak "Keith" Tamari; one granddaughter, Kalena Voisin; two brother-in-laws, John Dubois and Jimmie Ordoyne. A family memorial will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 2, 2012 at the home of Mouna Trosclair located at 204 Enterprise Ave. Patterson, Louisiana 70392.
