Christopher Noel Rodrigue

Christopher “Chris” Rodrigue, 40, a resident of Bayou L’Ourse and a native of New Orleans, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2007 at Tulane University Medical Center. Chris is survived by his loving wife, Crystal Gilchrist Rodrigue, and by his daughter, Brittany Babre, his father and step-mother Antoine Rodrigue Sr. and Brenda Rodrigue, his mother and step-father, Linda Dennis Rodrigue Vining and Clement Joseph Vining Sr., his grand-parents, Bessie and Floyd Written, his sisters; Amanda Rodrigue Vining and her husband Evy Vining Jr., Patricia Rodrigue and her fiance George Oncale, Melissa Rodrigue Vining and her husband Glenn Vining Sr., Heather Vining and her fiancee Ryan Snodgrass, Regina Ackman Hebert and her husband Willis Hebert, his brothers; Jay Prestenbach, Ray Prestenbach and his fiance, Jessica Pullum, Jeremy Ackman and his wife Amanda Ackman. He is also survived by his godchildren; Morrigan, Evy Jr., Brandon, Caleb, Meah, Nelia, Wade Jr., Jonathan, Anthony, Kayleigh, Chevy, Heather, Jeremy, Elizabeth, Emily, Mandy and Sheila. He was preceded in death by his son, Cyril John Vining Rodrigue, his grandfather, Clement Vining Sr., his grandfather and grandmother, Preston Dennis and Mattie Dennis, his grandparents, Cyril Rodrigue and Albertine Rodrigue, and by his brother, Antoine Rordigue Jr. The family will receive friends at Twin City Funeral Home Monday, September 3, 2007 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will commence at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Danny Poche officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery. (To my beloved husband, I love you always and forever. Wait for me on the other side and I’ll be watching for you. You were a wonderful husband, great parain and loving father. We will all miss you very much.)
