Ole Blanco Morrison 93, a resident of Thibodaux, the daughter of the late Morris Blanco and Marie Hebert Blanco. She was born September 30, 1913 in Bayou L’Ourse and passed away September 10, 2007 in Thibodaux. She is survived by her two daughters, Katherine Thibodaux and her companion Emile Foret of Thibodaux, and Judy Theriot and her husband D. J. of Labadieville; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 6 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 78 years, Sterling Morrison Sr., her parents; 6 sisters, Emily Guillot, Maggie Keller, Dovey Bergeron, Mary Pennison, Sidonia Nini and Lorraine Barrilleaux; three brothers, Adam, Lawrence and Harry Blanco; 2 sons, Sterling “Buck” Morrison Jr. and Lloyd Morrison. She was a loving mother, wife and grandmother. She loved to cook macaroni and cheese. Her hobbies included crocheting, sewing and walking for exercise, visiting friends and family, going to the casino and planting flowers, also spoke fluently in French, and listening to music. She loved having her family and friends at her home. The family will receive friends at Saint Bridget’s Catholic Church in Shreiver, Wednesday September 12, 2007 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will commence Wednesday September 12, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the church. She will be laid to rest in the Saint Bridget’s Cemetery.
