Bertie Ray

Bertie Ray, 83, a resident of Berwick and a native of Vinita, OK, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2007. Bertie enjoyed traveling, music and dancing. Bertie enjoyed eating fried shrimp and especially her son-in-law’s fried fish. Bertie loved small family gathering and her Lord Jesus. Bertie is survived by her husband, Jimmie F. Ray of Berwick, one son, Calton F. Ray and his wife Alta Leann of Oregon City, OR, one daughter, Marta R. Mire and her husband Floyd of Morgan City, two brothers; James O. Calton Jr. and his wife Joan of Kansas, Joe M. Calton of Coffeeville, Kansas, one sister, Margie C. Thomason of Coffeeville, Kansas, five grandchildren; Scott and Shane Mire, Tina and Mike Moullett and Brian Ray, two great-grandchildren; Emily and Nick Moullett. Bertie is preceded in death by her parents, James O. and Ella Chumley Calton. Visitation will be held, Saturday, September 15, 2007 from 8:30am until 11am at Twin City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11am at Twin City Funeral Home. Bertie will be laid to rest in the Berwick Mausoleum.
