Dorothy Mae Hotard

Dorothy, 84, a resident of Bayou Vista, passed away September 11, 2007 at Teche Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of James and Lillie Haag, born in Jonesboro, AR. May 1, 1923. Above all Dorothy loved her family most of all and her beloved doggie “Rascal”. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Lawrence Hotard of Bayou Vista; three sons, James Larry Hotard and his wife Norma of BayouVista, Randall Hotard and his wife Sandra, of Bayou Vista and Gerald Hotard and his wife Patty of Bayou Vista; her grandchildren, James Hotard Jr. and his wife Renee, Shaunda Hotard, Christi LeBlanc and her husband Shane, Traci Hover and her husband Steve, Brandon Hotard and his wife Jamie, and Dustin Hotard. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren; Brooke and Brittany Hotard, D.J., Seth and Alexis Anslem, Camron Case, Carson and Bethany LeBlanc, Kylie Henson, Ryan Hover, Rayne and Miley Hotard. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lillie Haag. Pallbearers to serve; Brandon and Dustin Hotard, D.J. and Seth Anslem, Steve Hover and Troy Billiot. Visitation will be observed Wednesday September 12, 2007 at Twin City Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Visitation will resume Thursday September 13, 2007 at Twin City Funeral Home from 8:00 a.m. till service time. Services will be conducted at the funeral home Thursday September 13, 2007 at 11a.m. She will be laid to rest in the St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Patterson.
