Arthur Duplantis Sr.

Arthur “Pee Wee” Duplantis Sr., 96, a resident of Morgan City and a native of Kaplan, passed away, Wednesday, March 5, 2008. PeeWee was a member of Knights of Columbus, Council 1373 of Morgan City and the St. Mary AARP. “PeeWee”Sr. is survived his wife loving wife of 73 years, Dolores Simoneaux Duplantis of Morgan City, one son, PeeWee Jr. and his wife Dianne of Berwick, 5 grandchildren, Dolores Conner, Dean Duplantis, Debra Duplantis, Dayna Waters and Dru Mitchell. “PeeWee” Sr. is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Marie Blanchard Duplantis, one brother, Clarence Duplantis, three sisters, Edna Marceaux, Wilda Arceneaux and Ella Ozio. The family will receive friends, Friday, March 7, 2008 at Twin City Funeral Home from 10am until 12noon. The funeral service will commence at 12 noon at Twin City Funeral Home. “PeeWee” will be laid to rest in Morgan City Mausoleum.
