Harry Gunars Brende September 23, 1927 June 13, 2008 Harry Gunars Brende, 80, a resident of Morgan City and a native of Riga, Latvia passed away, Friday, June 13, 2008 at Southwest Medical Center in Lafayette. Harry enjoyed playing cards and the Casino. Harry enjoyed gatherings with his friends. Harry is survived by one brother, Arvids Brende and his wife Dzidra of Boynton Beach, Fl. Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Augusts and Natalija Zarins Brende. Visitation was held Monday, June 16, 2008 at Twin City Funeral Home from 6pm until 9pm. Harry’s wishes were to be cremated. The family and friends would like to thank the staff at Morgan City Health Care for their great loving care and to Twin City Funeral Home for their excellent service.
