Roma Fourtinberry

Roma Forgey Fortinberry, 92, died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008, in Pasadena, Texas. She was the wife of the late Dr. Andrew Fortinberry, daughter of the late Delphine Hanson and Burl E. Forgey Sr., mother of the late Andrew Fortinberry Jr., sister of the late Burl E. Forgey Jr., Iva Forgey and Kathryn Oehlke, and niece of Pamela Dublin. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Dell and Dan Donham and Nola and Dave Bray; grandchildren, Danny Donham, David Donham and his wife, Gretchen, Dee Ann Bazile and her husband, Mark, Andrew Avis and his wife Jodi, and Brian Avis; great-grandchildren, Baylor Gregory Donham, Nadia Blair Donham, Marissa Noele Bazile and Reagen Dee Avis; nieces and nephews, Beryl Ann Forgey Olhasso, Burl E. Forgey III, Don Paul Forgey and Karen Forgey Boudreaux, and their spouses; seven grand-nieces and grand-nephews; and eight great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. Her remains rest at Twin City Funeral Home where visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Friday, Aug. 8, 2008. Visitation will be held at Atkinson Memorial Presbyterian Church in Morgan City from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. at the church, with the Rev. Bob Hyatt, officiating. Interment will be in the Morgan City Cemetery.
