Alayah Nicole Rodrigue, 13, a native and resident of Morgan City, LA, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2022.
She is survived by her parents, Alisha Crappell and Daniel Ratcliff, Brett and Kara Rodrigue; brothers, Bryson Rodrigue, Trenton Ratcliff, Lukas Ratcliff, Barrett Rodrigue; grandparents, Amanda and Jos Boersma, Kevin Crappell, Vanessa Gugliotta, Troy and Joann Ratcliff, Christal Lirette and John Barrilleaux, Randy and Autum Rodrigue, Debra Blackwell; great-grandparents, Linda Lirette, Larry and Louann Crappell, Ethel Gugliotta, Lea Guzzetta, Carolyn Rodrigue, Henry Giroir, Sr.; godparents, Katherine Dinger and Brendon Rodrigue; aunts and uncles, Zachary Crappell, Kyler Boersma, Madelaine Boersma, Cora Boersma, Kevin Crappell, Jr., Sadie Rodrigue, Morgan Rodrigue, Ryan Rodrigue, Kayla Boersma; an abundance of cousins.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Barry Blackwell; great-grandparents, Corrine Pennison Giroir, Vincent Gugliotta, James Lirette, Lawrence Rodrigue.
A student at Immanuel Christian School in Morgan City and member of the youth group at Bethel Pentecostal Fellowship in Patterson, Alayah will be lovingly remembered as a great big sister and an animal lover. She was passionate, adventurous, and tough, but she was also selfless, loving, and very outgoing, possessing a big heart that she shared with lots of friends and with her family.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 23, 2022 from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm at Twin City Funeral Home in Morgan City, LA. A religious service will begin at 1:00 pm at Bethel Pentecostal Fellowship in Patterson, LA followed by burial in Morgan City Cemetery.
