It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Allen Joseph Mayon Jr., who departed this life on October 27, 2026, at the age of 61. He was born on December 25, 1964, in Morgan City, Louisiana, and later resided in Pineville, Louisiana. Allen’s spirit was as vibrant as the outdoor adventures he cherished, spending countless hours hunting, fishing, boating, and camping amidst the natural beauty of Louisiana.

Allen is survived by the love of his life, Chris Ann Daigle; his children, Allen Mayon III and wife Paige, Kayla Mayon LaRive and husband Christopher, Brandi Perez Scully and husband Brent and Jason Mayon and wife Sasha; his sister Tina Mayon Posey and his brother Adley Mayon; and a large and loving extended family that includes numerous grandchildren— Carson, Isaiah, Andrea, Ashley, Leighton, Raelynn, Marikay, Braylee, Jordan, Jevon, Kenleigh and a great-grandchild, Bonnie Klaire.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Allen Sr and Noelie Mayon; one brother, Scott Mayon; and one grandson, Devon.

A visitation will be held Monday, November 2, 2026, at Twin City Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., with a service beginning at (1:00 p.m.). After the service Allen will be laid to rest in St. Andrews Cemetery.
