Allen Dale Rogers

Allen Dale Rogers, 83, a resident of Berwick, passed away peacefully at his home, Friday, May 1, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Allen was born August 10, 1942, the son of Theoville Rogers and Edmonian Melancon Rogers.

Known throughout his community as an exceptional golfer, he earned a reputation as one of the best, with many friends and family members eager to join him on the green. His love for sports extended to football, which he enjoyed both as a player and a dedicated fan.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his son, Forrest “Billy” Lacoste and wife Amber; two grandchildren, Jayce and Lauryssa; brother, Frenchie Rogers; niece and nephew, Missy and Nelson.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ella Mae.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 11, 2026, at Morgan City Cemetery with Pastor Josh Salter officiating.
