Atanacio “Beda/Tony” Guerrero III

Atanacio Guerrero III, age 40, of Morgan City, LA passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2023. Atanacio was born August 10, 1982.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his wife of 25 years , Lisa Guerrero; Son Blaze Guerrero & fiancé Raygan Morgan, Daughters, Jasmine Guerrero and fiancé Mason Carnley , and Ava Guerrero. Grandchildren; Maci Guerrero, and Brooklynn Carnley. Parents; Angela Daigle and Atanacio “Tony” Guerrero Jr. Father-in-law, Rodney Hughes. Siblings; Jaelynn Guerrero & fiancé Jason Wiggins, Jadi Guerrero, Caleb Guerrero, and Dejon Francis. Grandmother, Olga Guerrero. Godchildren; Alexis Rink, Javin Taylor, Brian Pojar, and Madison Hughes. Along with a host of nephews, nieces, family, and friends.

Beda’s most beloved past time included anything family, mini vacations, spur of the moment adventures. He had passion for so many things, one lifelong passion has always been boxing. It was more than a sport to him, he embraced every aspect of boxing, he wore gloves from the young age of four into adult hood, where he took to the ring again, at 40 years old. When the chance came, he took it with a fresh new figure, that he worked extremely hard to achieve. With water, sweat, and lots of internal motivation he lost a whole human, and took out his opponent. He worked beside his son daily doing what he loved to do, build things. Beda would never turn down a project, especially if there was a boat, fast cars with big engines.

Atanacio is preceded in death by his Grandson, Drako Guerrero; Grandparents Alfred Sr & Nelda Daigle; Atanasio “Tiny” Guerrero Sr.; Martina “Tina’ Hernandez; Godmother, Cherly Aucoin; Mother-in-law, Deborah Hughes; Cousin, Travis Morin; Best friends; Kevin Elliot, and Christopher Brigalia Jr.  

A service will be held at 2:00p.m. at Bayou L'Ourse Baptist church, Monday 17, 2023. Visitation will be held from 12:00p.m. until the time of service, at 2:00p.m.
