Autrey Joseph Mayon

Autrey Joseph Mayon, age 79, a resident of Bayou L’ourse passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022.  He was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather.

He was married to his wife, Durelia Fay, for 58 years.  He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. They were the light of his life.

He is survived by his wife Durelia Leger Mayon, and children Dominick Fryou, Crystal Ray, Audrey Aucoin and Dawn Adams; their spouses, Regina Fryou, Gene Ray, Kurtis Aucoin and Shawn Adams; grandchildren, Dominick Fryou, Jr., Chad Fryou, David Ray, Jennifer Theriot, Michael Aucoin and Brody Adams; their spouses, Beth Fryou, Katie Fryou, Courtney Ray, Zach Theriot, Mckenzie Aucoin and Jordan Serigny; great grandchildren, Noah Fryou, Ashton Fryou, Paul Fryou, Julia Fryou, Sally Ann Ray, Dean Theriot; sister, Annabelle Scully.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Bessie Mayon; father, Albrush Mayon; sisters, Odette Sons, Grace Boudreaux and Edith Polaski, along with his brother, Irving Mayon.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
