Welp, I must admit it but apparently on Monday, January 8, 2024 at 12:24am, I have moved on.
On May 8, 1957, my parents and older sister (Peggy) celebrated my birth, and I was introduced to all as Barbara Lynn Harvey, the daughter of Gerald and Louise Harvey from Morgan City. Just three years later when a baby boy (Paul) was born, I became known as the middle child of the three Harvey kids and the world was changed forever. Lol
I am survived by my baby Kobe James (my dog); my sister, Peggy Leonard; my brother Paul and wife Audrey; nieces and nephews: Christina Landry and husband Leo; Chris Leonard; Micheal Harvey and wife Jenny; Jeffery Harvey and wife Moneice; and Tracy Parker. Great nieces and nephews: Trysten Tallada, Izzi Landry, Bonnie Tallada, Bruce Tallada Jr, Brandle Tallada, Abby Harvey, Gavin Harvey, Phoebe Harvey and Gregory Parker. Plus, multiple aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
I am preceded in death by my parents, Gerald and Louise Harvey; paternal grandmother Marie Louise Terrebonne; my maternal grandparents Henry J. and Helen Kober.
I just want to say thank you to the ones who helped me along the way. Thank you for the phone calls and texts. Those who loved me, assisted me, cared for me, laughed with me and cried with me. I was blessed beyond measure by knowing all of you. That is what made my life worthwhile. My family is my heart. I love each and every one of you so much. Life is short so take time to smell the flowers. Turn your phone off and spend quality time with each other. You can find something good in everybody.
Remember We can do nothing without the Lord. Asking Jesus to come into my life was the best thing I ever did. Please don't turn your back on him. Time is short, don't wait until it's too late.
I'll leave you with this ... please don't cry because I'm gone; instead, be happy that I was here. (Or maybe you can cry a little bit. After all, I have moved away). Today I am happy and pain free. If you look for me in heaven, I'm up on a mountain by a stream in a cabin with no spiders and snakes around.
See you in heaven.
