Barbara A. Oubre, 79, a resident of Stephensville, passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, October 23, 2026, at Terrebonne General Hospital.

Barbara was born on February 23, 1947, the daughter of A.J. Cuvillier and Blanche Mayon Cuvillier.

Barbara worked at The Daily Review until she retired. Then was a commercial Fisherwomen working alongside her husband, Euley W. Oubre.

She enjoyed going to the casino, especially her trips to Mississippi with her sisters. She Loved all the family gatherings for holidays and special occasions and didn’t miss an opportunity to spend time with her loved ones. She also enjoyed going play Bingo on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, going to Golden Angels and Ladies Day out with her sister Dolores and friend Dorothy, sitting outside fishing and all her beautiful flowers.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her four children, Nanette Sons and husband Mica of Stephensville, Euley Joseph Oubre II and wife Terry of Morgan City, Gabriel James Oubre and companion Donna Smith of Morgan City, Garrett Lee Oubre of Stephensville, Five grandchildren, Mikee Jo Oubre, Danielle Love Oubre, Drew Oubre, Kaleb Oubre, Joseph Oubre, and girlfriend Shilee, three step grandchildren, Skye Vincent, Brent Rock Jr. and Cody Rock and 6 step great grandchildren, Two sisters, Dolores Bailey of Stephensville, Rae Ann Fryou and husband Ricky of Bayou l’ Ourse, one brother, Ray J Cuvillier Sr. and wife Lola of Maurepas, Her great nephew and buddy Royce Fryou (Rollie), Barbara is also survived by two sisters-in-laws, Vera Kirkland and Nicky Hafer, Two Brother-in-laws, Greg Oubre and wife Lea, Tracy Oubre.

Barbara Oubre was preceded in death by her husband Euley W. Oubre and her parents A.J. Cuvillier and Blanche Mayon Cuvillier.

Funeral services will be held at noon, Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 27, 2026, from 9:00 am. Until the time of services. After services, Barbara will be laid to rest in Morgan City Cemetery with her husband, Euley.
