Benjamin Joseph Landry, 45, a resident of Pierre Part, passed away Friday, July 17, 2026 at his home.

Benjamin was born May 15, 1981, in Houma, the son of Jimmie Duval and Julie Landry Duval.

Benjamin was often seen riding his motorcycle on the open roads, a wide smile on his face as he embraced the freedom of the ride. His kindness knew no bounds—he was the kind of man who would literally give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Benjamin was always lending a helping hand, whether it was cutting his neighbors' grass or bringing out their trash, making life a little easier for those around him. A wonderful cook, Benjamin loved to whip up delicious dishes in the kitchen. He took great pleasure in cooking for his mother, often treating her to his famous boiled seafood, a favorite among family gatherings.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his mother, Julie Duval and husband Jimmie Duval Jr.; one sister, Nicole LaCoste and husband Jacob Crochet; nieces, Paige Carline and Raven Carline; his nanny, Lucy Landry; great uncle and aunt, LeRay and Karen Billiot; great aunt, Rose Sampey; paternal grandparents, Yvonne Duval and Daniel Cavalier; uncle, Bruce Duval; and his beloved dog, Rex, and cat, Felicia.

Benjamin was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Roland Landry and Enola Landry; maternal great-grandparents, Thaddeus and Elda Billiot; paternal great-grandparents, Felicia and Neddis Landry; numerous aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will be held, Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Twin City Funeral Home, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. After services, Benjamin will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
