Betty McMurry Barrilleaux

Betty McMurry Barrilleaux, 75, born June 26, 1950, in Mineral Wells, Texas, passed away peacefully in her home in Morgan City, February 3, 2026.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Johnny Barrilleaux (Shannon) of Patterson, Christopher Barrilleaux (Jenita) of Bayou Blue, Chad Barrilleaux (Terra) of Morgan City; daughter-in-law, Rachel Barrilleaux; brother, Will McMurry; sister, Sally Srader; 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, David L. Barrilleaux; son, David “Davy” P. Barrilleaux; parents, Doris Franklin and Ralph McMurry; grandchild, Baby Barrilleaux; daughter-in-law, Pauline Barrilleaux; brother-in-law, Lloyd Srader.

The family would like to thank Betty’s cousins Marie, Janet, Mark, and Bonnie, for all their love and care shown to her during her final days.
