Bobbie Jean Acosta, 49, a resident of Stephensville, passed away peacefully Friday, July 25, 2025, at home, surrounded by her loving family.
Bobbie was born October 17, 1975, the daughter of Bob “Bobby” Paul Acosta and Sarah Fabre Acosta.
Bobbie's passions were as deep as the bayous of Louisiana. Whether she was fishing, cooking up delicious family meals, or drawing and creating art, she poured her heart into everything she did. Her happiest moments were spent hanging out with her family, often sitting on the dock, soaking in the sun and laughter that filled the air.
Bobbie was known for her warm heart, her love for animals, and her green thumb. She spent countless hours nurturing her garden, where she found peace among the plants and flowers that she so cherished. Her passion for gardening was matched only by her love for her loyal dog, Auggie, who was not just her pet but her best friend. They shared many adventures together. Bobbie also enjoyed shopping.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son, Roderick Prestenbach and significant other, Casie Freia; mother, Sarah Fabre Acosta; siblings, sister, Samantha Landry and her husband Gibson Landry; brother, Calvin Acosta; nieces and nephews, Tyler Landry and his fiancé Kayla Hebert, Kailey Landry and her companion Quinton Toups, Hollister Hebert, Hayden Acosta, and Rainee Glenn; great nieces and nephews, Myles, Maverick, and Maddox Landry, Adaline Toups.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Acosta.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Twin City Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., and again Thursday, from 8:00 a.m., until the time of service. After services, Bobbie will be laid to rest in the First Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Napoleonville.
Pallbearers will be Miles, Maddox, and Maverick Landry, Roderick Prestenbach, Calvin Acosta, Tyler and Gibson Landry, Rodney Fabre, and Jimmy Legnon.
