Carl Christopher Blanchard Sr.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Carl Christopher Blanchard Sr., a beloved member of the Amelia community. Carl, born on September 18, 1965, in Morgan City, LA, passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 58.

He is survived by his loving children, Carl Blanchard Jr., Cindy Blanchard(Shea Saujon), and Michele Blanchard(Kory Domangue), as well as his cherished grandchildren, Madi Saujon, Parker Domangue, Trey Domangue, Kolsten Domangue, Allie Carline, and River Saujon. Carl is also survived by his sisters Carla Dartez(Lenny), Charlotte Ratcliff(Brad), Carolyn Guidry(Michael), brother Chester Blanchard(Robin), a very special friend Missy Cavalier and his best friends, Bruiser and Jax.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Chester Blanchard Sr. and Mary Louise Blanchard, father-in-law, Douglas Businelle.
 
His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Carl will be remembered for his hard work ethic, kind heart, and dedication to his family. May he rest in peace as his spirit lives on in the memories of those he leaves behind.
