Carlette Scully Holloway

Mrs. Carlette Scully Holloway of Morgan City, Louisiana, passed away on April 14, 2026, at the age of 72. Born in Morgan City, Louisiana on August 24, 1953. Carlette was known for spending time with her family's cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Throughout her life, for 52 years, she worked as a bookkeeper (she did payroll without looking at a calculator).

Carlette will be forever cherished by her husband, Sammy Holloway, her son Chad Bourgeois and wife Melanie, her daughter Melissa Aucoin, and one brother, Elwood Scully Jr., cherished grandchildren Dexter Aucoin, Sean Stewart Jr. and Gabe Bourgeois and wife Veronica, Cherished great grand Children Kylie, Malachi, Angel, Jorden (JuJu) Jr., Giovanni and soon to be Kingston.

Carlette was preceded in death by her parents, Elwood Scully Sr. and Irene D. Scully, and one sister, Cathy LaCoste.

Carlette’s presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever live in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace surrounded by the love and memories she shared with all who were touched by her life.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Twin City Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m., until 11:00 a.m. with services starting at 11am. After the service, Carlette will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
