Celeste Guidry Henry

Celeste Guidry Henry, 44, a resident of Morgan City, passed away, Sunday, June 25, 2023 at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans.

Celeste was born March 9, 1979, in Morgan City, LA, the daughter of Marvin Guidry and Sharon Rulf Guidry.

Celeste will be lovingly remembered by her husband Paris Henry, son Kai Henry; sister Chantel Roy and husband Ron Roy; neice (GodChild) Braylee Roy.

Celeste was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother Mary Guidry and maternal grandfather Arthur “Mac” Rulf.

Celeste was a fun spirited soul who took on many passions. One of which included crafting. She had incredible artistic talent. She found comfort and peace in capturing meaningful designs and using it to express herself. One of her favorite places was anywhere family was. More specifically, being home and raising her son Kai, and her 3 “Baby Gurls” (Dogs) Kali, Nola, and Pyper. Family was everything for Celeste. She was a dedicated mother and wife that wanted the best for her family.

Celeste was a strong fighter, but she is now sailing on a journey to shores that we cannot see. We know that she is free from pain and is floating peacefully with her “Glitter” friends in the crystal-clear crafting room of her dreams. Just keep cupping…

Celeste was a beautiful person inside and out. Her smile was so stunning it would light up the whole room. She cared so deeply for the people around her. She was so kind and passionate. She made an impact on many lives. She will be forever missed. Until we meet again.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation for Celeste Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at Twin City Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m; beginning at 2:00 p.m. a Prayer Service will be held with Father Mike Tran of Holy Cross Church. After Prayer Services, Celeste will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
