Chester Joseph Sons III

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Chester Joseph Sons III, better known as CJ, who departed from this life on September 15, 2025, at the age of 63. CJ was born on September 21, 1961, in Morgan City, Louisiana, and was a lifelong resident of Bayou Vista, Louisiana. He was a cherished son, a beloved brother, and a loving uncle.

CJ had a passion for life that was reflected in his love for sports, particularly his unwavering support for the LSU Tigers and the New Orleans Saints. He found great joy in gathering with friends and family to watch the games, sharing in the triumphs and tribulations of his favorite teams.

CJ was preceded in death by his father, Chester J Sons, Jr. He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Sons, his brother Greg Sons (Sherry), and his sister, Angie Hinkamp (Steve). He is also survived by five cherished nieces and nephews, as well as eleven great-nieces and great-nephews, who will lovingly remember him.
