Clarence Paul Dupuy, 86, a resident of Amelia, passed away peacefully, Friday, August 14, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Clarence was born August 12, 1934, in White Castle, the son of Lucian Dupuy and Agnes Landry Dupuy.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two daughters, Evelyn Charpentier and husband Ronald of Amelia, Julie Cox and husband Mark of Amelia; four brothers, Roy Dupuy of Bayou L’Ourse, Russell Dupuy of Bayou L’Ourse, Robert Dupuy of Bayou Lo’ourse, Richard Dupuy and wife Betty of Gibson; four sisters, Patricia Ledet of Houma, Dorothy Lovell of Bayou L’Ourse, Doris Aucoin of Bayou L’Ourse, Agnes Gros and husband Junius of Stephensville; three grandchildren, Danny Dupuy and companion Stacy of Amelia, Johnathan Cox and wife Aleshia of Vinton, LA, Jeremy Nugent and wife Kylie of Clarksville, TN; 7 great-grandchildren, Jevin Dupuy, Alexcia Johnson, Levi, Harleigh, Greyson, and Jude Cox, Gunner Nugent.
Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, Lucian and Agnes Dupuy; wife, Christine Dupuy; wife, Rosalie Dupuy; three infant sons; nine brothers, Horace, John, Julius, Lawrence, Harry Lee, Patrick, Joseph, Albert, Roland, three sisters, Vivian Hidalgo, Rita Mae Savoy, and Bernadette Duhon.
A private burial will be held at Morgan City Cemetery.
