Deborah Walrath Marsh

Deborah Walrath Marsh, 68, a resident of Morgan City, passed away Friday, August 26, 2022 at Ochsner St. Mary.

Deborah was born January 18, 1954, in San Marcos, TX, the daughter of Earl Walrath and Barbara Bird.

Deborah loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and dancing.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son, Richard DeLong and wife Melanie of Bayou Vista; daughter, Misty DeLong and significant other of Morgan City; siblings, Edith Walrath of Rockingham, NC, Earl Walrath and wife Corene of Cooperstown, NY, Robert Walrath of Alvin, TX, David Walrath and wife Jill of Burlington Flats, NY, Lori Nicholson of Holden Beach, NC, Michael Walrath and wife Robin of Burlington Flats, NY; six grandchildren, Annisa Pitts, Brittney Pitts, Trinity Daigle, Jerry Forbes, Cheyanne Coppenger, and Cori’Ann Graves; six great-grandchildren, Draven Roy, Hollie’Anne Davis, Nevaeh Hart, Isabella Forbes, Kali Forbes, and Icelynn Pitts; numerous nieces and nephews.

Deborah was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Bird.

A memorial visitation will be held Friday, September 2, 2022 at Twin City Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
