It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Doris Ann Landry, who departed this life on September 7, 2025. Born on December 30, 1944, in Morgan City, Louisiana, Doris spent her life in the heart of Berwick, Louisiana, where she became known for her warmth, generosity, and indomitable spirit.

Doris had a passion for life that was evident in her love for the excitement of the casino, where she enjoyed countless hours of entertainment and fun with family and friends. Doris was also known for her vibrant spirit and love of exploration, often delighting in the simple pleasures of riding in her car and sightseeing.

Doris is survived by her beloved children: Bob Landry and wife Shelia, Jason Landry and wife Krystle, Christopher Landry and wife Jane, and Angelia Coon and husband Micheal. She was a devoted grandmother to her grandchildren: Sarah Ghirardi, Kevin Landry, Kasey Pojar, Magen McCullough, Brooke Landry, Caleb Landry, Ty Landry, Chase Landry, Raygan Guerrero, Harvey Morgan, Grace Landry, and Gavin Morgan; and sixteen great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her dear brother, Clayton Billiot and wife Susie and sister Brenda Alleman and husband Lawrence. Her unwavering love for her family, especially her grandchildren, brought her immense joy and fulfillment throughout her life.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Landry; parents, Whitney and Nola Billiot; one brother, Whiteny Billiot Jr., and two sisters, Janette Crochet and Joyce Romaro.

A graveside service will be held on September 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM, at Morgan City Cemetery where family and friends will gather to celebrate Doris’s life and pay their final respects. She will be laid to rest in a place of honor, surrounded by the love of her family who will hold her memory in their hearts forever.
