Earl Joseph Wiggins

Earl Joseph Wiggins, 94, a resident of Morgan City, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at his home.

Earl was born July 25, 1928, the son of Howard Wiggins and Ida Aucoin Wiggins.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his three children, Jerrell Wiggins, Janice Aucoin and husband D.J., Julie Wiggins and partner Edie Landry; four grandchildren, J.J. Wiggins, Jarrod Wiggins, Jennifer W. Romero, Dwayne “Peanut” Aucoin; ten great grandchildren, Lauren W. Hebert, Cameron Wiggins, Tanner Wiggins, Morgan Romero, Quincee Wiggins, Mackenzie Wiggins, Symone Wiggins, and Brett Romero, Wyatt Aucoin and Winston Aucoin; six great-great grandchildren, Annelise Hebert, Brayden Wiggins, Pierce Hebert, Harper Wiggins, Bennett Wiggins, and Whitten Hebert, also twins expected in April.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Ida Wiggins; his wife of 76 years, Gloria Morrison Wiggins; grandson, David J. Aucoin Jr.; one daughter-in-law, Sparkle Wiggins.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Morgan City Cemetery.
