Edward "Eddie" Earl Holden

Edward Earl “Eddie” Holden, 63, a resident of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021 in Franklin, Louisiana.

Eddie was born on October 28, 1957 in Picayune, Mississippi the son of Aaron James Holden Sr. and Christabell Lee Holden.

Eddie loved music, but especially country music, with George Jones and Conway Twitty being his favorites. He enjoyed being the outdoors with a fishing pole in his hand, waiting for a big fish to find it’s way to his line. He loved his family and cherished every moment that he was able to spend with them, but truly adored his grandchildren.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two daughters, Melissa Holden of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi and Samantha Holden of Richland, Mississippi; his wife, Belinda Cantrelle Holden of Richland, Mississippi; two step children, Savannah Bazzelle and Sabastian Alford; five grandchildren, Kalob Holden, Keegan Looney, Khalia Buras, Kyran Holden and Kylar Holden; one step granddaughter, Adalay Butler; one great grandson, Brentley Holden; three sisters, Evelyn Petree and husband Willis of Ricohoc, Louisiana,  Linda Vining and husband George of Patterson, Louisiana, Patricia Howard and husband Gordon of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi; companion Tammy Conway of Kenner, Louisiana.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Aaron J. Holden Jr. and Robby H. Holden; two sisters, Theresa Ann McKinnon and Lisa Wannage.

Graveside services will be held at a later date in the Holden Cemetery in Kiln, Mississippi.
