Elaine "Tracey" Ackman

Elaine “Tracey” Ackman, 45, a resident of Ricohoc, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Tracey was born on September 10, 1974 in Morgan City, the daughter of Rufus Ackman Sr. and Elaine Lombas Ackman.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by three children, Timothy Kyle Eliot of Mississippi, Kaylin Ariel Eliot of St. Amant, Keira Lacey Lazaro of Ricohoc; two grandchildren, Lyla Nope and Jace Nope; her parents, Rufus Ackman Sr. and Elaine Lombas Ackman of Ricohoc; one brother, Rufus Scott Ackman Jr. of Ricohoc; two nieces, Brianna Ackman and Tammy Ackman; two nephews and god children, Dylan Blanchard, Gabe Blanchard and Miguel Guillotte; her god mothers, Rita Ackman, Angela Lombas and Dianne Sauce. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

Tracey was preceded in death by one sister, Elisabeth May Ackman; maternal grandparents, Gilbert and Emily Lombas; paternal grandparents, Dalton Ackman and Gladys Ackman Aucoin.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
