Erica Brown Stubbs

Erica Brown Stubbs, 46, a resident of Morgan City, passed away Monday, October 14, 2019 at Ochsner Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.

Erica was born December 22, 1973, in Lafayette, the daughter of Bruce Brown and Nancy Mitchell Levitt.

Erica was a vibrant, beautiful woman, but she was also stern with no bow. She enjoyed going to the camp and going fishing; Erica also enjoyed sitting at home, playing candy crush, and drinking her monster energy drinks.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 9 years, Claude Stubbs of Morgan City, father, Bruce Brown and wife Barbara of Morgan City; mother, Nancy Mitchell Levitt of Morgan City; one brother, Jared Duplechin of Morgan City; one sister, Nicole Semmens and husband Tommy of Morgan City; three nieces, Braily Arabie, Brooklyn Bourque, Jae’ Duplechin; three  nephews, Damon and Dylan Porrovecchio, Dominique Dupre; sister-in-law, June Meyers; brother-in-law, Author Meyers; cousins, Pamela Craigo, Terry Kimbell; Erica’s fur-babies, Nute, Piere’, Maggie.

Erica was preceded in death by her step father, Lester Duplechin; aunt, Dorothy Kimbell.

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Twin City Funeral Home from 1:00p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
