Fay Ann Gutierrez

Fay Ann Gutierrez, born on July 21, 1947, in New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away on June 24, 2025. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Fay was a cherished member of her community. Fay lived her life with passion and warmth, providing for her family through her work in the food industry.

She is survived by her son, Demetrio Gutierrez Jr. and wife Destiny, daughters, Milissa Adams and Marcy Lanclos, her brothers, Peter D. Guidry Jr. and wife Martha, Mike Guidry, sister, Christine Daigle and husband Wilbert. Fay is also survived her grandchildren, Honestie, Dalton, Timothy Jr., Anisa, Mia, Aliseah and Kaylynn who will carry forward her legacy of love and resilience.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Fay's life with a Mass at St. Louis Catholic Church in Bayou Blue, on June 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Prior to the Mass, there will be a public viewing at the same location starting at 9:00 AM. Following the service, she will be laid to rest in St. Francis Cemetery #2 .

Fay Ann Gutierrez will be remembered for her kindness, culinary skills, and the indelible mark she left on all who had the privilege to know her. Her spirit will live on in the many lives she touched.
