Frank Morgan Adams Sr., 78, a resident of Morgan City, passed away Monday, January 19, 2026, at his home.
Born on February 25, 1947, in Morgan City, Frank dedicated his life to the commercial fishing and shrimping industry, a testament to his deep-rooted connection to the waters of his hometown. Frank was a warm and generous soul, known for his caring nature and a welcoming spirit that made everyone feel at home. He loved to share coffee and meals with friends and family, always ensuring that those around him felt nourished and cared for.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his four children, Thelma Prestenbach, Teresa Adams and husband Anthony, Frank Adams Jr. and wife Elainea, Tonya Billiot; 9 grandchildren, Jacob Liner, Anthony “A.J” Adams, Shantell Hotard, Jessie Adams, Ashley Billiot, Fallon Boquet, Jasmine Guidry, Violet Elesberry, Frank Adams III; 19 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild; Rosie Pellissier and husband Frank and Joyce LaCoste; numerous nieces and nephews.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, George Morgan Adams and Violet Adams; wife, Keffey Laverne Sharp Adams; daughter, Christa Quain, two grandchildren, Frank Marshall Adams and Kayla Boudreaux; one great-grandchild, Jaxon Adams; siblings, Christine Dupuy, George Ellen Adams, Jessie Alfred Adams, Leola Mae Andrews, son-in-law, Holly Prestenbach.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Liner, Cullin Liner, Anthony Adams Jr., Joshua Pellissier, Anthony Adams, and Julius Boquet; honorary pallbearers will be Junius LaCoste, Justin LaCoste, Frank Pellissier, and Robert “Bobby” Liner.
A funeral service will be held to honor Frank’s life on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Twin City Funeral Home. Friends and family are invited to come together to celebrate his remarkable life, share stories, and pay their respects from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service. Following the service, Frank will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
