Gail Sheriee Dugas Adams

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Gail Sheriee Dugas Adams, 60 a resident of Morgan City passed away peacefully, Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Thibodaux Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

Gail was born December 4, 1963, in Baton Rouge the daughter of Roy Dukes and Bernice Fletcher Dugas.

Gail had a calling to nurture the poor and the downtrodden. She touched countless lives with her compassion. She worked as a certified nursing assistant in nursing homes, veteran’s hospitals, with the disabled and with the dying. 

Her memory will live on forever and we will always cherish the time we spent together. She will be sadly missed and lovingly missed by the father of her daughter, Richard Adams, her daughter, Natasha-Rae Domangue and husband Corey Domangue. Her grandchildren Liam Domangue, Matthew Domangue and Jace Trapp. Five siblings: George Dugas, Jr. (Flavia), Kelley Reid (Autumn), Jaimie Bergeron (Brent), James Dugas (Lena), and James Mitchel (Anina). Nieces and Nephews: Theresa Dugas, Sara D Broussard (John), Anne Dugas, Laura Dugas, Katie B Williams (Trent), Chip Bergeron (Robin), Reid Bergeron, Alexis Mitchel, Chelsey Mitchel, Jay Mitchel, Hailey Mitchel, Hopi Reid, Cheyenne Reid, and Dakota Reid.

Gail was preceded in death by her parents: Roy Dukes and Bernice Dugas, Aunt Linda Pierre. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
