Gayle Marie Aucoin, 70, a resident of Berwick passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018.
Gayle was born July 31, 1948 in Morgan City, the daughter of Sterling Aucoin Sr. and Leona Solar Davis.
Gayle was an animal lover and she showed that through all of her own pets. She loved being outside spending time in her garden, crocheting, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Gayle will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two sons, Gary Wayne Phillips Jr. and companion Peggy Smith and Gordon "Woody" Woodfin Vining; one daughter, Brigette Phillips and companion Leroy Verret; mother, Leona Davis; three sisters, Christine Davis, Patricia Davis, Rebecca Davis; two brothers, Danny Davis and wife Joni, Rodney Davis and wife Jill; 6 grandchildren, Daina Russell and husband Jonathan, Carlyssa Arceneaux and husband Trey, Courtney Dibetta and companion Benny, Jordan Phillips, Jonathan Aikin, and Deven Vining and numerous great-grandchildren.
Gayle was preceded in death by her father, Sterling Aucoin Sr. and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
A celebration of Gayle's life will be held at a later date.
