Gerald Anthony Price Sr. born on January 26, 1940 to Lee and Agnes Price Sr. was called home September 2, 2026. Gerald Spent 30 years at the Morgan City Fire Department.

Gerald leaves behind to cherish his memories. His loving wife of ten years, Susan Songe Price, one son, Gerald Price Jr. and Becky; grandson Justin Price and Aerial; eight great grandchildren, Gavyn Jon, Paetyn Ashley, Ryder David, Avery Elise, Henley Dale, Emery Pearl, Oakley Anthony, and Branden Cole. Grandson Gerald Anthony II (Jerry), who gave him four great grandkids: Ellie Mae, Lainey Rae, Jace Anthony and Drake Joseph. His only granddaughter was Brittani Anne Ashley Price, who gave him four grandchildren: Audrey Rose, Miles Joseph, twins Layla Mae and Owen Cole. His daughters, Denise Lindsey, grandsons Daniel Lindsey and Bradley Lindsey. Melissa Sanchez and Mark, grandson Stephen. Hide Songe; two granddaughters, Branden and Bree Mitchell; two grandsons, Eric and Kane Songe. He will be missed by five out of twelve siblings. Agnes Wright, Charlene Pye, Libby Allen, Don Price, and Frank Price. Also, numerous brothers and sister-in-laws.

Gerald is preceded in death by his loving wife of fifty years, Barbara Morgan Price; granddaughter, Ashley Rebecca Price; great-granddaughter, Ellie Mae Price; and great-grandson, Jayce Anthony Price.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Twin City Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m., until 9:00 p.m. Visitation will resume the next morning from 8:00 a.m., until 10:00 a.m. at the time of services. Services will be rendered by Rev. Joy Comeaux, followed by a burial at Morgan City Cemetery.
