Gustave James Romero

Gustave James Romero, 68, a resident of Morgan City, passed away peacefully, Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Our Lady of the Lords in Lafyette.

Gustave was born September 25, 1954, in Morgan City, the son of Minus Romero and Marie “Bessie” Miller Romero.

Gustave will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 22 years, Vickie Percle Romero of Morgan City; two step-sons, Chad Romero of Morgan City and Keith Percle and signifigant other Stephanie Lajeunie of Berwick; one brother, Timothy Romero and wife Marilyn of Morgan City; two sisters, Susan Aucoin and husband Henry of Bayou L’Ourse and Nancy Hampton of Greece.

Gustave was preceded in death by his parents, Minus and Bessie Romero; siblings, Juanita Bacle and Kenneth Romero.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Morgan City Cemetery with Father Mike Trahan officiating.
