Gwendolyn Tellman

Gwendolyn Ann Tellman, of Berwick, Louisiana, passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 61. She was born on February 26, 1963, in Morgan City, Louisiana, to George and Una Canty. 

Gwendolyn had a passion for reading books, which brought her immense joy throughout her life. Her love for reading influenced all those around her and created lasting memories cherished by her loved ones.

Gwendolyn was a woman of many talents and passions. She found joy in the simple things in life such as sewing, coloring, and gardening. She was also known for her love of sunbathing and relaxation, finding solace under the bright rays of the sun.

Gwendolyn will be dearly missed by her surviving relatives, including her son, Glynn Guidry Jr., her granddaughters, Angelique Guidry and Lillyian Guidry Vidos and husband Jesse, her grandson Payton Guidry; godchild, Danielle; brother, Shawn Canty and wife Tammy, brother-in-law Larry Tellman, and sister-in-law Lesley Dunagin; and her lifelong friend Faith Spinella.

Gwendolyn was preceded in death by her parents George and Una Canty; husbands, Glynn Guidry, Raymond Howe and Douglas Tellman; two brothers, George and Bannon Canty.
