It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Harris Joseph Soileau Jr., a beloved husband, son, and friend, who peacefully departed this world on December 19, 2023. Born on February 23, 1963, in Morgan City, LA, Harris was a cherished son of Harris Soileau Sr. and Diana Soileau.

Harris found solace and contentment in the simple pleasures of life. He had a deep admiration for nature and loved spending his free time on the Bayou, surrounded by its beauty. Whether he was fishing, boating, or simply soaking in the serenity of the surroundings, Harris found peace in nature's embrace.

Harris was a man of strong faith, as he loved the Lord with all his heart. He found solace and strength in his relationship with God, which greatly influenced his life.

With a passionate and caring nature, Harris cherished every moment spent with his family. His wife Christine Soileau, step sons Joshua Marks and Dean Marks Jr. Parents Harris Sr. Diana Soileau, a sister Vicky Sons, husband Merlin, were the greatest joys of his life. Harris held a special place in his heart for his Godchild Jami Braud husband Eli, nephew Mark Sons and wife Michaela ,niece Chelsey Sons, great nephews and great niece, Lincoln Sons, August Sons and River Braud great niece Wren Braud, adored grandson Kohen Fabre brought immense happiness into his life.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 23, 2023, at Twin City Funeral Home. Family and friends may gather at Twin City Funeral Home, Friday, December 22, 2023, from 6:00p.m. until 9:00 p.m., and again Saturday, December 23, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. After Mass, Harris Jr. will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
