Henry Joseph Pierce, 48, a resident of Morgan City, passed away peacefully, Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center.

Henry was born July 29, 1978, the son of Richard Paul Pierce and Sharon “Kay” Beraud Pierce.

Henry was a devoted friend and a passionate LSU fan whose enthusiasm for life knew no bounds. Whether he was cheering for his beloved Tigers, catching the latest wrestling match, or casting a line during his favorite fishing trips, Henry always found joy in the simple pleasures. Most importantly, enjoyed creating unforgettable memories that will be cherished by all those who knew him.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his two daughters, Angel Pierce and fiancé Austin Rodriguez, Shanina Nicole Schahn and boyfriend Kenneth Pittman; mother, Kay Pierce; siblings, Dizzie Booty and Lee Paul Peirce; brother-in-law, Steve Booty; mother of Henry’s children, Terri Schahn; godchildren, Logan and wife Nicole, Cade, Mya, Micheal; nieces and nephews, Baile, Kristen, Hunter, Madden, Daylen, Courtney, Alexus, Savanah; caretaker and friend, Jadi Guerrero; two great nieces, Lily and Lucy.

Henry was preceded in death by his father, Richard Pierce; one brother, John Pierce; best friend, Beda Guerrero.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
