James Joseph Siracusa

James Joseph Siracusa, 79, a resident of Berwick, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019.

James was born March 10, 1940, in Morgan City, the son of Joseph Anthony Siracusa and Sadie Maggio Siracusa.

James was an avid Saints and LSU fan, he enjoyed going to his son’s house and cooking steaks with his family while watching the LSU game. He was a great father and grandfather, and he will be missed incredibly.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two sons, Harold Siracusa and his wife Mona of Morgan City and James Siracusa and wife Wendy of Bayou L’Ourse; one daughter, Tina Hodges and husband Joe of Arkansas; daughter-in-law, Debbie Percle of Morgan City; two sisters, Grace Garratt and Connie Barbier, both of Morgan City; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Sadie Siracusa; one son, Joseph Raymond Siracusa; one brother, Raymond Zino Siracusa.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Twin City Funeral Home with Monsignor Courville officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services, Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Twin City Funeral Home.
