Jason Wade Cooper

Jason Wade Cooper, 46, a resident of Morgan City, lost his battle with cancer, Thursday, March 14, 2024. He was surrounded by all his loved ones. 

Jason was born June 27, 1977. 

Jason had a zest for life, and was a great guy, with a huge heart. He enjoyed anything fast, whether it was cars or music, and he was obsessed with disco lights. 

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his mother, Patricia Cooper; stepmother, Cindy Gussman; son, Zane Michael Cooper; mother of his son, Jessica Falterman; significant other, Mandy Wininger; three stepchildren, Jayme, Kai, and Miah Wininger; aunt, Doris Kennedy; uncles, Jack Cooper and James Cooper; best friend, Bryan Derouen. 

Jason was preceded in death by his stepson, Porter Wininger; grandmother, Rita Cooper; uncles, Charlie Cooper, and David Cooper; stepbrother, Glynn Carter.

To keep with his wishes, Jason will be cremated and no services will be held.
