Jeannine Marie Cobbs Barrick, 64, a resident of Berwick, passed away peacefully, June 30, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Jeannine was born October 24, 1961, the daughter of Jessie Boyce Cobbs and Ella Cobbs.

Jeannine was a beloved cook, sharing her culinary talents with friends and family alike. Whether it was a family gathering or a quiet night at home, her food was always made with love and brought people together. Her warmth extended beyond the kitchen; for eight years, she served as a dedicated crossing guard for the Berwick Police Department, ensuring the safety of countless children with her ever-present smile and friendly demeanor. Jeannine cherished her time watching television, often getting lost in her favorite shows, and enjoyed every moment she spent with her children and grandchildren.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Richard Barrick III, Jemery Barrick and fiancé JoAnna Stalcup; grandchildren, Emmilyn Barrick and Wendy LeAnn Stalcup Barrick; sisters, Lisa Chapman, Wendy Adams, Lois Arceneaux and husband Charles; numerous nieces and nephews.

Jeannine was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Cobbs two brothers, Robert James Cobbs and Jessie B. Cobbs.
