Jerry Joseph Landry, 93, a resident of Lafayette, native of Berwick, passed away peacefully, Sunday, September. 6, 2026, at Hospice of Acadiana.

Jerry was born on January 9, 1933, in Berwick, LA, son of Charles Landry, Sr. and Grace Angeron Landry.

Jerry will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Evelyn Theriot Landry; nine daughters, Jeri Norris and husband Carson, Angela Fields husband Jimmy, Gwen Hidalgo and husband Glen, Belinda Arceneaux and husband Jules, Lisa LaCombe and husband David, Amy Grow and husband JR, Stephanie Landry, Josette Siracusa, Julie Siracusa and husband Ricky Brabner; two sisters, Alice Faye Person; Mary Grace Verret; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, and one great-grandchild on the way; one great-great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles, Sr. and Grace Landry; ten brothers; Dickie, Douglas, Sherald, Charles Jr., Dudley, Louis, Perry, Merval, Mike, and Wade; two sisters, Betty Buras and Judy Rhodes.

Pallbearers will be Glen Hidalgo, Jules Arceneaux, David LaCombe, Justin Arceneaux, Ryan LaCombe, Rhett LaCombe, Benny Buras, and Ricky Brabner.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. After services, Jerry will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery Mausoleum.
