Jimmy Adam Bailey Jr

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jimmy Adam (Bobe) Bailey Jr., age 63, who departed this life on May 12, 2026. Born on October 16, 1962, Jimmy was a dedicated husband, father, brother, and friend whose warmth and laughter will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.

Known for his warm spirit and unwavering love for his family, Jimmy's favorite pastime was spending quality time with his loved ones. His legacy of kindness and dedication will continue to inspire those who knew him. Jimmy also cherished the simple joys of life, spending countless hours in the great outdoors. He loved to hunt, fish, and go boating, often sharing these adventures with his family and friends.

Survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Majella Bailey, Jimmy also leaves behind a cherished legacy of four daughters: Meaghan Giroir and husband Tommy, Brea Stephens and husband Reed, Amber Bailey and Brandon, Reilee Bailey and Haven. He was a devoted grandfather to Sophie Bailey, Olivia Stephens, Owens Stephens, Emberlyn Adams, Payton Giroir, Thomas Giroir Jr., Jocelynn Giroir, and Lendon Giroir. He is also survived by his father, Jimmy Bailey; mother, Dolores Bailey; siblings, Arlene Bailey-Cavalier and wife Christy, Scott Bailey and wife Alexia, Jacquelynn Bailey, and Marilynn Bailey; as well as his father-in-law, David Broussard and wife Cheryl; brother-in-law, David Daigle; and sister-in-law, Lesley Lapeze. He will also be missed by his numerous nieces and nephews.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his grandparents; Victor and Audrey Bailey and A. J and Blanche Cuvier; his mother and father-in-law, Don and Jeanien Gray; and sister-in-law, Nicole Daigle.

In honor of Jimmy's life, a memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at 12PM. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 24, 2026 from 10am-12pm at the time of services.
