It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Johnny Lee Mire, who left this world on September 23, 2026, at the age of 62. Born on September 4, 1964, in Franklin, Louisiana, Johnny lived a life filled with the love of music and the warmth of family and friends

Johnny is remembered for his passion for playing the guitar, which harmonized beautifully with his love for music. He found joy in sharing moments with his loved ones, always cherishing the simple pleasures of life spent in the company of family and friends.

He is survived by his two brothers, Mickey Mire and Myron Mire; four sisters, Gaye Cusson, Carlisse Dunn and friend Troy, Audrey Mire, and Linda Mire. Johnny’s spirit and kindness will be profoundly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents Lance and Antonia Mire; two sisters, Ann Russelle and Donis Clements

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at Twin City Funeral Home form 11:00am till the time of service at 1:30pm. Funeral services will be held in his honor on October 7, 2026, at 1:30 PM. The ceremony will provide family and friends an opportunity to celebrate Johnny’s life and legacy. Following the services, he will be laid to rest in Morgan City Cemetery.
