Joseph "Wilmer" Harrington

Joseph “Wilmer” Harrington, 91, a resident of Patterson, passed away peacefully, Monday, February 28, 2022 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.  

Wilmer enjoyed fishing and hunting and he loved going to his camp in Duck Lake. He also enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews.

Wilmer was born January 28, 1931, the son of Theonis Harrington Sr. and Lucille Lemaire Harrington.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his son, William C. Mumford IV “Billy” and wife Gina of Patterson; two sisters, Geraldine Hathorn and Martha Harrington; numerous nieces and nephews.

Wilmer was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Doris “Totsie” Giroir Harrington; two brothers, Theonis Harrington Jr. and Leo Harrington.

Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m., Friday, March 4, 2022 at Morgan City Cemetery with Father Bennerfield officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, March 4, 2022 at Twin City funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
